History of the Project

In the United States of America, within the State of Arizona lies the largest population of Native Americans living inside the American Indian Reservation destinated by the U.S. Government, the nations within a nation. Among these Native Americans, less than 5% are Christians.

In the summer of 1992, team members of three Chinese Baptist churches from Arizona and California started the first summer mission trip in Whiteriver and Winslow to share the love and good news of Jesus Christ our Lord through work projects and other ministries.

Since then, the number of participants continued to grow year after year. In 1994, a "Native American Mission Fund" was established to provide continuing financial support to the Indians gospel work on the Reservations. In the summer of 1999, there were 253 adults and youth participants representing more than 18 different churches from US and Canada. They ministered in seven different locations on and outside the Apache Reservation.

The experience of the mission trip was so heart-stirring that over the years many young people have committed to full-time ministry services during the invitation which has been given at the end of the mission trip every year.

To God be the glory for great things He has done and is continuing to do with us, in us, and through us! We are thankful for the blessings since we can be part of His exciting ministry.
