SWAT
The Sunday Worship Assistant Team (SWAT) is formed to provide
General Business related services before, during
and after all worship services:
Chinese (Cantonese), English and Children. In other words,
the major responsibility of the SWAT is to ensure that
all General Business related items are in place to
facilitate all worship services.
Services include, but not limited to,
- Ensure pews and/or chairs in worship centers are in place;
- Ensure hymnbooks, pencils and offering envelopes are in place;
- Arrange and put in place special non-electronics
equipment and furnitures if any (Note that
SALT
is responsible for all electronic equpiment.);
- Co-ordinate, prepare and/or setup refreshment, if any,
after worship;
- Return, remove and/or store away items left behind inside
the worship centers;
- After worship, arrange facility (table, chairs etc.) ready for activities
to be held during the weekdays (e.g., Wednesday Bible Study) if necessary.
The team is organized parallel to the
Facilities Arrangement Service Team (FAST)
and under the
General Business Committee
(GBC).
The Team Leaders are members of GBC and will be responsible to coordinate
and/or assign tasks among team members.
