The Kitchen, Restaurant and Food Team (KRAFT) will facilitate certain groups to use the Main Building Kitchen:
- The groups to be served include SWCBC groups, SWCBC-sponsored groups, SWCBC-approved community service groups which have goals and purposes that are consistent with Christian concerns, and, SWCBC-approved private gatherings such as birthday parties, anniversaries, weddings, bridal and baby showers.
- The ‘Reservation & Agreement Form’ form needs to be filled out and turned in to the office 3 days before the event starting date. The form is available by the Kitchen’s pantry door. Charge may be applied to private events.
- All equipments (stove, oven, coffee maker, tea pot, and rice cooker) are to be cleaned and returned back to their place if applicable after use.
- All dishes and utensils are to be dried by dishtowels and be returned to the drawers or cabinets where they belong.
- All dirty towels and aprons must be placed in the hamper. Do not place any towel on the top of the counter to dry.
- Trash must be taken to the outside dumpster and new liner should be replaced in the trashcan. Do not leave the trash outside the Kitchen’s back door. Please ensure all the rooms used for the event are clean and the trash bag has been replaced if applicable.
- Before leaving, all equipments are to be double-checked, such as, the stove and oven are off, or, the coffee maker, teapot and/or rice cooker are unplugged.
