Presentation of Phase IIA Church Building Project
The Family Life Center (FLC) is a 150 ft x 100 ft single story building that includes a multipurpose area in the center and 13 classrooms on the two sides. The multipurpose area provides facilities and markings for a standard middle school size basketball court. One end of the building is a 44 ft wide stage, and the other end of the building houses a commercial grade kitchen, a large storage room and the restrooms with shower facilities. A mezzanine is located above the restroom area that houses an equipment room and a HVAC room.The 13 classrooms can hold a total of about 200 attendants, while the multipurpose area can serve as a meeting place for an assembly of up to about 500 people. The multipurpose area will be used for whole church jointed worship services, children/youth worship services, church membership meetings, church-wide fellowship luncheons and banquets, and church special events. In addition, the multipurpose area will be used for various recreational and sport activities for fellowship and outreach purposes.
The Project also includes an addition of 66 parking spaces.
